Teams

A league is only as strong as its skaters and officials. Here you can find out all you want to know about the teams they belong to.

Bloody Marys

Bloody Marys

Every league needs a travel team and there aren't many as fierce as GRDL's very own Bloody Marys.

Redrafted each year, the Bloody Marys have taken each bout they've skated in their stride, with Diner style dresses supplied by Lenny's Custom Clothing.

These skaters have booty blocked and hip checked their way into hearts all over Victoria and beyond!, but none have they so completely enraptured more than the Dukes of Deliciousness who even wrote a song for them which is soon to be released on Vinyl!

The Psychotics

The Psychotics

Straight out of the electric chair and onto the Derby Rink, the Psychotics rock out in electric blue and black as one of GRDL's first two home teams.

Watch out when these ladies hit the track as its likely to get absolutely crazy.

Atom Bombs

Atom Bombs

The Atom Bombs are one of GRDL's two home teams.
After suffering a bitter defeat in the league's first season, the Bombs fought back in Season Two to become the undefeated champions.

Clad in Camo and white and taking over the track with military precision, this is one team to keep an eye on.

Maulrats

Maulrats

This brazen group of skaters was put together especially for the 2010 "Great Southern Slam" Tournament which was held in Adelaide.

The team consisted of skaters from both Geelong and Ballarat, joining forces to field a regional Victorian team.

Much to the surprise of many contenders, the Maulrats played a brutal 3 bouts in a single day and left the tournament in 5th place out of 16 leagues from Australia and New Zealand - not bad for a regional team!

Zebras

Zebras

Behind each amazing bout there is a team of great officials. Not just the Zebra clad Referees, but the Non Skating Officials who donate their time to ensure the bout goes ahead.

If the Refs main concern is safety, the NSO's are the ones responsible for some very important, but less glamorous roles than being a bouting skater that need to exist to ensure the smooth running of a bout.

Without this team, there would be no bouts for you to enjoy.
